Why was my comment removed? There was NOTHING offensive about it! It was sarcastic...MLK would NOT be proud of what is happening in New Orleans. Accept the truth, TPOne can only guess how the commenter invoked Dr. King's legacy but previous comments by the same user might provide some guidance:
Typically, when blacks come into a restaurant, and especially if it is a large group of them, most servers DREAD having to wait on them. The reason they hate it is because usually the blacks won't tip, they bitch and complain about everything, they ask for extra sugar, extra lemon, extra bread, extra this and extra that FOR FREE...that sort of cr@p gets old...blacks get a bad rap for being horrible tippers and basically unbearable to deal with in the service industry...for the most part, this stereotype is dead on correct. Look at what happens when the Bayou Classic comes to town...business owners shut their doors because it isn't worth it to stay open because of all the hassles that come along with dealing with the blacks....why don't business owners shut down when predominantly white conventions and things come to town? Because the business owners know that they will actually make money and not lose it....Black people do it to themselves and they deserve the bad reptuation they have.

It would be great to tear down the Iberville projects, but where would these people go? Not so much as I am worried about where they live, but how they will eventually destroy whatever neighborhood they are placed in. I could never understand how someone would pay top dollar to live in those new condos that are situated right next to the Iberville projects? Let me pay top dollar for a condo with a view of the projects and all the trash that lives there.

It's black males that are the problem (and the parents that let them run around the city with no consequences). Particularly, black males aged 15-30 that are the cause for like 80-90% of the violent crime in the city. This is not a racist comment, as many will unfortunately take as such, but the truth. If it were some other race committing all the violent crimes in this city, I would be the first to say so. By the way, I am black.

Harry wasn't politically correct, and that was ok...he kept Jefferson Parish SAFE. Newell Normand has dropped the ball BIG TIME. I can remember ANYTIME something like this happend in JP (which wasn't nearly as often as it is with Newell Normand in charge), HARRY LEE would be on TV raising hell, warning criminals that he was coming out for them...WHERE ARE YOU NEWELL NORMAND? Even Metairie is starting to get a bit worse...we can't all run to the Northshore to get away from crime...and moreover, WHY THE HELL SHOULD WE?? My God, tighten up Newell Normand...you know where the hot spots are...patrol the hell out of the area...day and night...Old Metairie will be just find with a few less patrols...day and night have your guys and gals cruising through the bad areas...put the thugs on notice...DO SOMETHING...it's not brain surgery....profiling works...you see some young dumb thug standing on the corner of the street at 2am...check him out and see what is going on...most people who actually work for a living and don't commit crimes aren't hanging out on the street at all hours of the night...we are sleeping...this is nothing racial, so don't even go there...if the majority of murders and crime being committed were done by whites in the city, then stop whites who match a description of the perp...JUST GET THE TRASH COMMITTING THE CRIMES REGARDLESS OF RACE...TIGHTEN UP NEWELL!!!!!

Who gives a cr@p about Cynthia Willard Clueless? Who gives a cr@p about the east? Where's the waterpark out there, or the amusement park, or even a movie theater? The east is a WASTELAND with cr@p leadership -THE EAST LOOKS LIKE IT DID DAYS AFTER KATRINA FOR GOD'S SAKE. Hopefully CWL will get a mall built out there (with bars on the windows and everything tied down to prevent the endless shoplifting) so I don't have to see babymammas and other human trash from the east "shopping" at Lakeside. Why is Lakeview so much more advanced and progressive 5 years post Katrina than the East? Why is there such lower crime in Lakeview than in the east? Hmmmmm....even the dummies in the east can figure that one out.
